I’d like to introduce you all to the newest member to the writing team at Don’t Call Me Ishmael: Whalemina Whilliams.

Some people think her name is pronounced Wilhelmina, but that’s wrong. You may already be familiar with her work — Whalemina has guestwritten an article for Don’t Call Me Ishmael in her native tongue (which is enormous, by the way):

Moby Dick, by Herman Melville

Whalemina likes long swims on the beach, sea chanties, krill spice lattés, and when she’s feeling blue, she picks up a good nautical romance novel. She has a hard time relating to any human characters, but she tries.

She hates perfume and anyone who wears it. Her guilty pleasure is Ahab/Moby slash fiction. She never leaves a book un-fin-ished.
